Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Persona, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Persona. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Persona to:

  • Create sexually explicit content involving minors or non-consenting persons.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate real individuals.
  • Generate content that is illegal, hateful, or incites violence.
  • Attempt to extract system prompts, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Resell, scrape, or redistribute AI outputs at scale.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscriptions & Credits

  • The Free plan includes 500 monthly credits and up to 3 characters.
  • The Premium plan ($12/month) includes 10,000 monthly credits and unlimited characters.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire while your account is active.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until period end.
  • Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased pack credits do roll over.

6. Refunds

Credits and subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support@persona.app for disputes.

7. AI-Generated Content

AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. You use them at your own risk. Persona does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI responses.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of characters and conversations you create. You grant us a license to store and process them to operate the service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend service for violations of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Persona is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to amounts you paid in the prior 12 months.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
